The process consists in evaporating the alcohol from the macerate by vacuum distillation so as not to degrade the properties of the buds.
Admittedly, this additional step makes gemmotherapy without alcohol more expensive than the traditional version but it offers a much higher concentration and efficiency. Indeed, 5 drops per day of alcohol-free gemmotherapy is equivalent to 15 drops of the traditional version, which makes the 30 ml bottles sufficient for a complete cure.
